Ok…I’ve been busy trying to improve my set-up for recording these home thingies. First test, a song from a while back, Charlie Christian., lead part. I remember this one really got me started with Alex’s lessons, it’s not as hard as some other lead lessons. So maybe someone else will give it a try as well. Here you go.
I do notice now, by recording it, that I always practice with the backing track containing Alex’s lead. And trying to play it on the backing track without the lead, is a lot harder, so I got some work to do 
. But very pleased with learning this lead.

Beautifully played Gert, great tone! I haven’t tried any lead parts yet, it’s never really been my thing. I’ve always been into fingerstyle but I’m using a plectrum more these days. This looks like a good place to start so thanks for the tip!

Brilliant work again mate, really enjoyed your tone on this one, very authentic to the Charlie Christian sound. Also, nice little add-on lick at the end, very pretty!
