🧐 Show and tell!.. let's see those guitars!

After seeing your fantastic posts on my “In The Neighborhood” thread over on Patreon, I thought it would be nice to see all of those beautiful guitars of yours! Post them in this thread, and give us a little info on them too!.. looking forward to seeing what you’re all playing! :face_with_monocle:

I’ll get the ball rolling with an image of my 2 vintage Gibson archtops; my trust 1953’ es125 on the left, and my newly acquired 1958’ es175 on the right. These things sound surprisingly different to one another! (even unplugged)

And my beloved Fender 52’ telecaster…

I love those old Gibsons!! I’ve been looking for a 125 myself recently…

If you see a nice one, jump on it!.. they’re still a bit of a bargain in the vintage world but that looks to be gradually changing!

Continuing with the 50’s Gibson motif, here’s my '56 ES 225. Love this guitar. Feels great, sounds great, looks great.

Continuing with the Gibson theme, here’s my Gibson Les Paul Special in TV Yellow (bought new from GAK). I changed the bridge and getting the pickups changed soon (waiting for a set of Sunbear P90s). This was my 50th birthday present… I wanted a guitar with P90s. I like it because it’s like Gibson’s take on a Telecaster (simple design, great sound).

Oh man, look at that! The only other guitar I’m genuinely on the lookout for is an es225 just like that… with a Bigsby too… amazing!
What’s the amp exactly?.. an old tweed Princeton?

That’s a stunner! I LOVE these flat top Lesters with P90’s… they have so much grunt. Those Sunbeam P90’s will take it to the next level for sure, Stu makes the best stuff out there! :ok_hand:

The amp is not mine. This is a photo from the seller on reverb when i bought it. His camera is better than mine. If you can find one, snag it. The prices have risen considerably in the last several years, but occasionally you see one for a little less. This is a factory Bigsby. I prefer a thin line personally.

Ah I see! Well, if you see a bargain you know where to find me! :joy:

Some serious stuff there my friend! Love those 335ms with the trapeze tailpiece! And those Nash guitars both look lovely

Thanks Alex… I like how they all match with the flooring! although the guitars came first, the rented flat later.

The Tele has a real “baseball bat” neck… I think it’s great

Maybe we should have a competition for the best background

Is that thin profile or full body?
